How Tenex Works

Step 2: Local Anesthesia
A small amount of local anesthetic is applied to numb the area—no general anesthesia or sedation needed.
Step 3: Targeted MicroTip Technology
A pen-like device (TX MicroTip™) uses ultrasonic energy to break up and remove the degenerated tissue through a 3 mm incision.
Step 4: No Stitches, Just a Bandage
Once the unhealthy tissue is removed, the incision is covered with a bandage, and patients walk out the same day.
